SERVICES & TARIFFS

1. We offer transportation throughout Panama City and other nearby popular destinations.  We can pick you up at the International airport in Panama City, take you to your hotel, and can customize any sight-seeing, cultural, or shopping excursion based on your individual needs and particular interests. Whatever you want to see...we can show you!  You will get a real feel of our beautiful country Panama since the beginning of your trip!

2. Relocation Tour = 4 hours = $25.00 an hour = show them the different neighborhoods of Panama City.  This tour is just for you  to get a feeling of our city, and know what the different neighborhoods look like.  This will also show you  which neighborhoods are closer to hospitals/hotels/casinos/restaurants,  etc.   I will take you and we will  get down at a supermarket so that you can see how modern and well supplied they are.

3. Want to live the experience of a day in an original Indian Village?  You will go up the river in a hand dug out wooden piragua (canoe) , will go to an original Indian Village where they will dance for you, show you all their handicrafts, you eat with them, the Indian doctor will take and show you all his plants and what he uses them for, etc.  An all day wonderful experience!  This costs $100.00 per person…includes everything:   transportation, guide, entrance fee to the village and to the national park, lunch, sodas, etc.   There is a minimum of 3 persons for this trip.

4. Historical/City Tour.  You can pick what you would like to see

    a.)  Half day city tour would be 4 hours  = 2 persons = $100.00

    b.)  Full day city tour would be 8 hours  =  2 persons = $200.00

(This includes l hour for lunch…lunch is paid by the customer) (I will recommend restaurants where food is excellent!)

A city tour could include:

1.)  Old Panama ruins (city founded in 1519).  Panama Viejo was sacked by Pirate Henry Morgan in l671.  The city burnt, but ruins are being re-inforced and main cathedral is being rebuilt.

2.)  Casco Viejo = where Panama moved after Henry Morgan sacked Panama City.  This area is being renovated, and is something you have to see..it is a combination of French and Colonial.  Most tourists tell me they feel like they are at the French Quarters in New Orleans.  Here we would visit the Golden Altar, French Plaza, National Theator, Presidential Palace, Main Cathedral.  This area is being renovated right now.  I

3.)  The Coastway = Man made road with water on both sides = beautiful view of Panama City.  There are a lot of restaurants in this area, with a beautiful view of the Panama City skyline.  From here you can see the entrance to the Panama Canal once the ship passes under the Bridge of the Americas.

4.)  You HAVE to see a ship transitting the locks so close that you feel you could almost touch the ship?!  We have a beautiful center (with an unbelievable museum) where you can see a ship passing thru the Miraflores Locks right in front of you.  There is also a very good restaurant here where you can have lunch or dinner looking at the ships transitting thru the Miraflores Locks.

5.)  I can show you the American bases (Albrook/Clayton) , where all the military used to live until December 31, l999.  Will also show you some of the areas where civilians who worked in the Panama Canal used to live.

6.)  There is a beautiful hotel in the middle of the rainforest called Gamboa Rainforest Resort.  The drive is about 45 minutes from Panama City…about 25 minutes from the Miraflores Locks. The drive is just beautiful...and the view from the hotel overlooking the Chagres River, the Gatun Lake,  and the Rainforest is gorgeous.  This area is known as birders´ paradise.  In Panama we have more birds than Canada and the United States together!

7.)  There is a park (Metropolitan Park) in the middle of Panama City, where we can go on some trails to see birds/trees/mammals, etc.  This park is about 20 minutes away from any of the local hotels in Panama City.

8.)  Shopping...I will take you to a place where you can find all the Indian handicrafts...we have 7 different ethnic groups in Panama, and each group has their own handicrafts.
